Afeez Agoro Oladimeji was a Nigerian citizen who was previously recognized as the tallest man in Nigeria. He stood at 2.25 metres (7 ft 5 in), shorter than his 2.41 metres (7 ft 11 in) compatriot, Abiodun Adegoke, who is likely the tallest man in Nigeria.

Biography
Afeez Agoro Oladimeji was born on December 13, 1975, in Sabo Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria. He had normal growth until he developed an ailment at the age of nineteen and when taken to a hospital, was diagnosed with Acromegaly, known commonly as gigantism, which made him grow vertically at a very rapid rate. Agoro unsuccessfully tried to combat the ailment and stood at a height of 7 ft ‘5 inch” which made him among the tallest people in Africa.
He obtained his ordinary National Diploma certificate from the University of Lagos and went further to get his Higher National Diploma certificate from the Lagos state Polytechnic.
Age
Afeez Agoro Oladimeji died on June 14, 2023, at the age of 48, after a prolonged battle with Acromegaly. He was buried in his hometown of Sabo Yaba, Lagos State.

Cause of Death
Agoro died of complications from Acromegaly, a condition that causes the body to produce too much growth hormone. Acromegaly can lead to a number of health problems, including heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
