Who is Cliff Cerce?

Cliff Cerce was a Southern Gospel member and singer with the band The Cerce. He was the baritone, pianist, and manager for the Cerce ensemble. He also writes all of the music for the band.

Originally from Paterson, New Jersey, Clifford has held the roles of lead pastor, assistant pastor, lecturer at a ministerial college, evangelist, host of a live chat show on a Christian radio station, and program director. He had previously performed with The Gabriels’ and The Forerunners, and he accompanied The Couriers’ tenor singer, Duane Nicholson, on the piano for several years during the band’s hiatus in the early 1980s.

Cliff was also a recording engineer, producer, and studio musician. He has created music for several artists, including James Blackwood, Dan Betzer, and the TV ministry of The Couriers.

The cartilage in Cliff’s knee was irreparably damaged when he twisted it on January 11, 2023. After three weeks of bedrest, he sought medical attention and learned that his kidneys and liver had been damaged.

Cliff Cerce passed away after putting in serious effort at the rehabilitation center to regain his mobility. On January 11, 2023, he twisted his knee and tore the cartilage out of it.  He got pneumonia and congestion on his lungs, and his body was unable to withstand the strain.

Before becoming the director of programming for a Christian radio station, Cliff held the positions of lead pastor, associate pastor, professor at a ministerial college, evangelist, and talk show host. He had previously performed with The Gabriels and The Forerunners, and he accompanied The Couriers’ tenor singer, Duane Nicholson, on the piano for several years during the band’s hiatus in the early 1980s.

Cerce was also a recording engineer, producer, and studio musician. He has created music for several artists, including James Blackwood, Dan Betzer, and the TV ministry of The Couriers.

He also created and engineered the weekly radio show “Revivaltime” for eight years; it was broadcast on 600 stations in the United States and 85 other countries, and it was the official radio programme of a major denomination. And that’s not all: Cliff is also the vice president of Heart of Truth Ministries in Oklahoma’s Temple.
