Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira (Born on October 2, 1991), is a professional footballer for Liverpool of the Premier League and the Brazil national team.
He began his professional career in 2009 with Figueirense and then moved on to play with 1899 Hoffenheim for the next 4.5 years. Firmino scored 16 times in 33 appearances during the 2013–14 Bundesliga season, good enough to win the Breakthrough Player title for the league. Roberto Firmino joined Liverpool in July 2015 and quickly became a fan favorite for his creativity, goal scoring, and work ethic.
Manager Jürgen Klopp even went so far as to call Firmino the “engine” behind Liverpool’s counter-pressing approach. Firmuno was born in Maceió’s Trapiche da Barra neighborhood and grew up near the Estadio Rei Pele.He was raised in a low-income home and was regarded as “humble” and “football chaotic.”
