Biography
Steven William Price was born on January 13, 1955, in Adelaide, South Australia. He studied journalism at the University of South Australia and began his career as a cadet reporter at The Advertiser newspaper. In 1983, he moved to radio, working as a newsreader and presenter at 5AA.

Career
Steve Price is an Australian radio broadcaster and opinion columnist. He has worked at some of the biggest radio stations in Australia, including 3AW, 2UE, and 2GB. He is known for his conservative views and his outspoken personality.
Price began his radio career in 1987, hosting drive on 3AW. He moved to mornings with 2UE in 2002, and remained there until 2009. In that year, he was found guilty of homosexual vilification after an on-air discussion about a gay couple. He left 2UE shortly afterwards.
In 2010, Price became the breakfast host on Melbourne talkback radio station MTR 1377. The station closed in 2012, and Price moved to 2GB in Sydney, where he hosted the nights show. He remained based in Melbourne, and also became a correspondent for New Zealand radio station Newstalk ZB and contributor on Mike Hosking Breakfast.
In 2017, Price appeared on the reality TV show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!. He was eliminated after 42 days, coming in fifth place.
Price left 2GB in 2019, but continued to appear as a weekly panelist on The Project. He also began contributing to Melbourne’s Triple M in 2020.
In 2021, Price began hosting Australia Today with Steve Price on the LISTNR app. The show airs from 7am to 10am (AEST) on weekdays.
