Teddy Riley began his career at an early age; he started playing instruments in church when he was only five and was writing songs for rappers by the age of fourteen. At seventeen years old, he produced Kool Moe Dee’s single ‘Go See the Doctor’.
He has worked with labels such as MCA, DreamWorks, Uptown and Interscope and has also been a part of two bands throughout his career: Guy, and Blackstreet.
Riley released three studio albums with Guy, titled ‘The Future’, ‘Guy III’ and ‘Guy’. He also made four albums with Blackstreet, named ‘Blackstreet’, ‘Finally’, ‘Another Level’ and ‘Level II’.
